I am married to a man who grew up with parents who took great pride in dressing up. You see, his parents owned a jewelry store in a small town in South Dakota. His dad wore a dress shirt and tie every day to work. The male workers at the store were also required to wear a tie. Wearing a tie showed professionalism and gave the impression they could be trusted. When dealing with large investments that can be made in jewelry, it was very important to portray the image of quality.
My husband has quite a collection of ties.
In fact, we do not know the exact number he owns. Let me put it this way. He has not worn the same tie to work in almost 3 years! The end of this month will be exactly 3 years of not wearing the same tie. 5. Polka Dot or Spotted Tie

Take inventory of your ties and be sure to include these eight basics in your wardrobe. These ties are the building blocks to your wardrobe. However, you do not have to stop at just eight. You may want your tie to become your signature style. In that case, the sky’s the limit … as I have found out with my husband!
